St Mary's Church Wherstead

St Mary’s Church is situated on a private farm road, and boasts
magnificent views of the river Orwell. There has been a church on this site from as early
as 1086. The Church building was completely restored at the beginning of
the twentieth century.

Safeguarding Officer

St Mary's Wherstead will have a service on alternate Sundays.  The church will remain open for private prayer following the service.

On alternate Saturdays - when there is no service the next day - the church will be open for private prayer.
